Erik’s Bio: Pennsylvania Born, New Jersey raised. Erik Benson has been an artist of his own since attending Rowan University in Glassboro NJ. Transplanting from the Tri-State area 8 years ago he has made an honest attempt to understand the LGBTQIA community in the best way. Using that understanding he constructs art that not only represents, advocates, and amplifies voices but he does art that speaks volumes towards progressive tendencies. Previously he has been known to be an event enthusiast working in places like Twin Oaks House and Gardens Wedding Estate, freelancing for events across the country and prolifically the Hotel Del Coronado! With that experience, Erik used the opportunity to mix all his experience and become an advocate/partner with his local Business Association and contribute to the creative side of city events! Not only does he manage, but he also designs sets, installs art. He also has been known to paint live (pre-Covid-19), create thought-provoking pieces, and inspire others to get involved in the fight for equality… He is always up for the challenge to blur the lines of controversial and hard-hitting with pieces that really make you look introspectively.
