Ashley Interviews Pivot Master, Nancy Paiva.
Nancy’s Bio: At age 12 I decided what I thought my one career would be for life! It was in the days that most people had one career in a lifetime or at least that was what I thought. It turns out that was not the case. The reason I choose my first career remains part of what I still do today – help people. It is about serving and building impactful relationships, connecting with people!
My early career was decided on a small island due to the lack of services. That gave me the opportunity to explore and see what life was beyond the little island. I was in awe of what I encountered out there! I obtained my college degree and remained in my first career for 9 years. Life circumstances took me in a different direction where I ended up at a startup company in another country in which I still remain today. I have had the opportunity to have a few different careers within the same company.
I don’t believe that I will stop learning and connecting with people. I believe once I retire, someday, I see myself moving on and building a career as a volunteer!
